More like crap. First, I burned the flour/yeast flakes in the microwave. Then, it turned into a watery mess with burnt flecks inside. I will try stovetop method next. My bisquits turned out well, though.
So far today, I had a smoothie for breakfast: 1 banana, mixed fruit (a good cup), flax seed, and soy milk (16 oz glass).
Lunch: veggie stir fry with noodles (mushrooms, broccoli, sprouts, and carrots).
Snack: apple
I've had a Luna bar and some After 8 mints, too.

Your burned the yeast and flour in the microwave? How! I sometimes need to thicked the gravy with a little cornstarch though. To me it's much easier to make using the microwave version than the stovetop but give it a try. The gravy is too good (and good for you) not to master. It is especially good on mashed potatoes and as the sauce in a shepard's pie. You don't even miss the nondairy butter.
ReplyDeleteOh, hey, we get to count chocolate as a vegetable! I'm in!!
ReplyDeleteChocolate was my treat for eating well at lunch. I played soccer last night and burned a butt-load of calories (and the temp had dropped to a cool 98 degrees by 6:30). I was starving by 8:00 and snacked on almonds on the drive home. I did't feel like cooking so I ate 3 of my bisquits with honey. Oh well. At least I got in an intense workout.
