I know I've been delivering up a lot of disaster porn lately. I know a lot of it is hard to take; maybe even a little hard to believe. But I've just learned something that explains everything that has happened in our economy over the last few months. Seriously, it is all perfectly clear now.
And the truth is terrifying.

If they could, you know that is exactly what they would do. Because they are evil. Which is why I like them.
ReplyDeleteIt's because I've been trying to make sure I blog enough instead of just posting comments. Which by the way, since momcat has gone way off the blog subject can I blog about the guy that honor killed his wife in the US the other day?

ReplyDeleteJust because the guy happens to be Muslim, they assume it was an "honor killing"...irate husbands kill their wives every day in the US, and no one thinks those are "honor killings"...it's media hype.
I didn't understand why they were making a big deal calling it aa "honor killing". The couple was Muslim, immigrants from Pakistan, and they call domestic violence that ends in the death of a woman "honor killings" in Pakistan and other predominately Muslim countries where the practice is somewhat accepted. Actually what riled me about the press coverage was that they weren't calling it a hate crime.
